All salary ranges shown include the current cost of living allowance.

Commencing salaries within the range will be paid according to qualifications and experience.

The appointees, after confirmation of appointment, will be eligible for benefits under the Commonwealth Superannuation Act. Preference in appointment in accordance with the provisions of the Re-establishment and Employment Act (No. 11 of 1945) will be given.

The undermentioned new offices have been created in the National Mapping Section, Property and Survey Branch, as indicated:- National Mapping Records, Information and Research Sub-section - One of Assistant, Grade 4, Fourth Division; one of Typist, Grade 1, Fourth Division; one of Messenger, Fourth Division.

 

A new office of Mechanic, Fourth Division, has been created in the Photogrammetric survey Sub-section of the National Mapping Section, Property and Survey Branch, with limits of salary of minimum £336 and maximum £360, and annual increments of £12 subject to vacation in pursuance of regulation 106A.

 

A new office of Storeman, Fourth Division, has been created in the Photogrammetric Survey Sub-section of the National Mapping Section, Property and Survey Branch, with salary of £280 subject to variations in pursuance of regulation 106A.

 

Two new offices of Field Assistant (Survey), Fourth Division, have been created in (Topographic Survey) Photogrammetric Survey Sub-section, National Mapping Section, Property and Survey Branch, with limits of salary of minimum £342 and maximum £414, and annual increments of £12, subject to variation in pursuance of regulation 106A.
